Liam Gibson

BSc (Physiology), BSc (Physiotherapy)

Liam’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science (major in Physiology) from the University of Melbourne, which led to him seeking a more hands-on approach to health and subsequently completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at CSU in Orange NSW.

Working out of the only practice in a rural NSW town, Liam is experienced in a wide range of conditions including (but not limited to) knee ligament and meniscus problems, tendinopathic problems in shoulders, Achilles and knees, elbow pathologies, neck conditions and painful low backs. Liam has also treated many people post-operatively and enjoys helping people regain full function post surgery.

Liam likes to keep active and has a background in elite volleyball going back 18 years along with 25 years experience as a competitive tennis player. Outside of work Liam enjoys strength training in the gym and enjoys working with regular gym goers to help them achieve their goals.

Liam also has a special interest in the application of radial shockwave therapy in speeding up the rate of healing with a wide range of conditions, and utilises this treatment modality as part of his service.
